Sunday, September 5 is a special day in the life of Woodmont Baptist Church. Sunday, September 5, we celebrate Steve’s 17^th Anniversary. So, we take a moment to say thank you to our faithful brother and servant. Thank you for 17 years of managing our buildings, overseeing our G.R.O.W., organizing our Sunday School, balancing our budgets, supervising our custodians and secretaries, leading our committees and assisting our pastors. Do you realize Steve has suffered through 5 different preacher/pastor’s? Thanks, Steve, for all you do and have done. – Bro. 2. BODY RECALL - A proven, tested program of exercise focusing on stretching, flexibility, range of motion, strength building, endurance, balance, and improving circulation to all parts of the body without threatening the heart will begin Monday, September 13. The nationally acclaimed program has been recognized by AARP as one of 14 promotion programs that help senior adults lead healthier independent lives. Woodmont classes will be held this semester at Westminister Presbyterian Church on Rickwood in the gym on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Cost for the 10 week session is $51. For questions call Barbara Price @ 256-275-3506. Sign up sheet will be in the breezeway.

 

McFarland Park, Pavillion #1. Kevin Johnson, Associate Pastor and humorist speaker from First Baptist of Florence, will present the program. In case of rain, we will meet in the gym. Come join us. Cost: $5.00. Sign up sheet is in the breezeway. If you make a reservation and are unable to attend, please pay Frances Moore for your meal later.
